Roller Shutter Doors Geduld Extension

Gauteng

Suburbs we cover here: Welgedacht, Geduld, Wright Park, Springs CBD

Garage doors, motors and roller shutter repairs in Geduld Extension, covering the older housing on the larger stands north of the main line and the small workshops among them.

What we see in Geduld Extension

Geduld Extension has more room than Geduld proper, and the stands show it — wider driveways, some double garages, and a fair number of properties with a workshop or a storage shed behind the house. That second opening is usually where the interesting work is, because it was built for storage and is now used for a business.

Age is still the theme. Doors here have generally been replaced once already, and the recurring fault is a replacement door that was heavier than the original fitted to a motor nobody upgraded. We weigh the specified door and size the operator to it, which is the difference between a motor that lasts a decade and one that is back on our list within a year.

Getting on site

Access is straightforward on the wider stands and most jobs run in a single visit. Where the work is on a rear workshop we check at survey that a vehicle can reach it, because a long carry across a yard changes how the day is planned.

Motors, backup and load shedding

Standard rated operators sized to the finished door weight, with manual release within reach. On properties with a workshop as well as a garage we match the operators and pair one remote, which is cheaper to fit and simpler to service later.

Repairs on any make

Torsion springs at end of life, frayed cables, worn rollers, tracks knocked out of line and motors overworked by a heavier door. On the workshop doors it is more often guides and bottom rails than anything electrical.

What it costs

Price depends on the width, the gauge and whether the opening needs work before a door can go in. We itemise the door, the motor and the installation separately for every Geduld Extension quote, so you can see what each part costs and decide what you actually want.

How soon we can be there

We run standby cover across Springs, so a stuck or forced door in Geduld Extension is attended the same day or the same night. Planned work is scheduled to suit you, and manufacture on a made-to-measure door is normally a few working days.
